The episode commences with Vidya inquiring if Armaan had a conversation with Ruhi. He responds negatively but assures her that he will bring Ruhi back. Madhav intervenes, asserting that it’s not Armaan’s responsibility, as Ruhi is Rohit’s wife. Vidya dismisses him, stating it’s a mother-son matter. Madhav, however, distinguishes between being a son and a mother, accusing Vidya of manipulating Armaan and jeopardizing his happiness. Armaan, trying to halt the argument, becomes emotional. Madhav congratulates Vidya on turning Armaan into a puppet, while Armaan defends his mother, proclaiming his willingness to sacrifice for her. Meanwhile, Ruhi returns home in tears, spotting Manish, but chooses not to add to his worries.
Armaan advises Abhira to concentrate on her studies and pretends to sleep. Abhira notices him messaging Ruhi and confronts him. Suwarna informs Armaan about the temple puja and expresses concern about his therapy session. The next morning, Abhira and Ruhi coincidentally meet at the temple. Suwarna scolds Abhira, who accidentally drops a file into the holy fire. Distraught, Abhira tries to salvage the burnt papers, but Ruhi warns her about the flames. Abhira’s day worsens when the file burning incident jeopardizes her exams, leaving her in tears.
Manish searches for Abhira, while Armaan messages Ruhi, wishing her luck for the exams. Abhira arrives at the college, only to face rejection due to the damaged file. Charu, mistaken for Abhira, encounters her boss Dev Shikhawat and engages in a conversation. Dev Shikhawat offers her tea and they exchange words. Abhira returns home, and Armaan, unaware of her ordeal, gifts her staplers and inquires about her exam. Abhira, overwhelmed with emotions, accuses Ruhi and Surekha of burning her assignment file, leaving Armaan in shock.
