“Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Episode Unfolds with Kaveri’s Firm Stand on Traditions; Abhira Seeks Support for Education”
The episode begins with Kaveri asserting to Armaan (Shehzada Dhami) that the Poddar family’s traditional rules won’t change. She insists Krish should be part of the workplace while Charu manages the family. Emphasizing that Poddar family women cannot work outside and then leave, Kaveri sets the tone. Armaan attempts to explain to Vidya, but she accuses him of insulting Kaveri, claiming he spoke like Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) and walks away.
Meanwhile, Ruhi suggests to Charu that they alleviate stress by coloring together. Abhira questions Armaan about his family’s lack of common sense and blames them for everything. Armaan reassures her and offers water, but she spills it, commenting on his inconsistent behavior. Abhira insists he thank her again, reminding him of his promise to fight for her studies. Ruhi observes, anticipating Kaveri’s potential anger toward Armaan. Abhira, determined to talk to Kaveri about her studies, is stopped by Armaan, who promises to address it. Kaveri plans to attend an NGO event the next day, but Ruhi feels dizzy. Abhira advises her to eat well, and Kaveri decides to go alone.
Armaan assures Abhira he’ll talk to Kaveri. Abhira takes a good luck gift from his bag, and he questions her. Armaan implies that issues arise when she doesn’t stay silent. Later, Ruhi plays cards with Charu and Krish. Armaan joins, secretly manipulating the game. When Ruhi reveals her cards, Armaan lies to let her win. Ruhi discovers the lie and questions Armaan.
Surekha refuses to visit the Poddar house, but Swarna tries to convince her. Kaveri distributes shagun money. Abhira asks Kaveri for a promise instead of shagun. She requests support for her studies and independence, but Kaveri denies the request.
