The episode begins with Abhira and everyone entering the hall and being shocked to see Rohit’s picture. They notice Dadi there as well. Manish, Suwarna, and Surekha join them and see the framed picture on the table with incense sticks and flowers. Vidya asks Dadi about the picture, and Dadi explains that they must cherish the memories of the departed through pictures.
Vidya disagrees, but Dadi insists that it’s time to let go of the hope she had kept alive for Rohit. Vidya and Ruhi cry, with Vidya protesting that they can’t give up hope. Dadi, however, believes they must release that hope to make room for new hopes and dreams. Despite Vidya’s pleas, Dadi garlands Rohit’s picture, leading to emotional reactions from everyone, especially Ruhi and Abhira.
Dadi then brings out a box, signaling a new beginning. She gestures for Ruhi to join her, and a poignant song plays in the background. Manish notices Ruhi and is reminded of Aarohi. Dadi wipes away Ruhi’s sindoor, and everyone is in tears.Dadi expresses regret for holding onto the hope of Rohit’s return, acknowledging that it’s time for Ruhi to move on and find happiness again.
She asks Ruhi to remove her mangalsutra, and Abhira replaces it with a red dupatta, symbolizing a fresh start. Dadi apologizes to Ruhi for the suffering fate has dealt her and encourages her to consider remarriage. This shocks Armaan, but Manish and Abhira are supportive. Dadi suggests a potential groom, Manav, and Manish and Surekha agree, much to Dadi’s delight.
She asks Ruhi to consider Manav and assures her of her support. Dadi also stipulates that Ruhi should marry from their house.
After Dadi leaves, the family discusses the proposal, and Abhira jokes about Dadi’s sudden change of heart. Manish and Surekha are happy for Ruhi but feel the decision is rushed. Armaan tries to console Ruhi, who is devastated by the turn of events, citing her past experiences with quick marriages. As she cries holding the dupatta, the episode ends on a somber note.
