Kavya and Kinjal anxiously discuss Anupama’s whereabouts. Kavya expresses concern, saying even Devika doesn’t know where Anupama is. Kinjal shares her hope for Anupama and Anuj to reunite. Meanwhile, Babu ji prays fervently for everything to resolve smoothly.
Anuj finds Anupama and shields her with an umbrella as rain begins to fall. The melody of “Aaya tere dar pe deewana” fills the air as they seek shelter in a beautiful glass house in the garden. Anuj gathers his courage to speak: “They say the past doesn’t return, but they underestimate the power of true love.
Our past became a dream for everyone else, but love doesn’t yield. I respected your decision to live separately, even decided to move on with someone else, but fate had other plans.”
He continues, “Shruti entered my life as Aadhya’s mother, but you were always in my heart. For 26 years, I never stopped loving you. I couldn’t hide my feelings from Shruti or Aadhya. She knew I loved you, and though she waited, I couldn’t give her my heart. When I saw you after five years, I wanted to forget everything, but Aadhya reminded me of my promise to Shruti.”
Anuj’s voice is resolute yet tender, “I love Aadhya deeply, but I can’t overlook how Shruti disrespected your image as a goddess. I can’t forgive her for that. So, here I am, standing before you without regret or tears, confessing that my life starts and ends with you. Our paths always crossed, and our love endured despite the distance and time. Why do we keep meeting if not destined to be together?”
Moved by his heartfelt confession, Anupama steps back, overwhelmed. Anuj kneels before her, his eyes filled with love and determination, “Anu, I love you. You’ve always known this. Why pull away now? We’ve fought against the world to be here; don’t let these five years outweigh our lifetime together. Tell me you love me too.”
Overwhelmed by emotions, Anupama pushes him gently and runs away. Anuj watches her go, hopeful yet unsure. As a poignant song or qawwali plays in the background, Anupama stops, turns, and looks back at Anuj, tears streaming down her face. Anuj smiles through his tears, knowing that their love, though tested, remains strong.
Anupama returned home and embraced Devika, who immediately expressed concern about her disappearance, mentioning everyone’s frantic search. Anupama, visibly distressed, admitted that Mr. Shah was right — she inadvertently disrupted Shruti and Anuj’s alliance.
Devika reassured her, insisting she wasn’t to blame. Anupama tearfully confessed her attempts to keep her distance from Anuj had failed, unintentionally coming between him and Shruti.
Devika questioned Anupama about rumors involving Shruti asking a food critic to sabotage lives, prompting Anupama to blame herself once more. Devika countered, reminding Anupama that Anuj and Shruti were merely friends and that Shruti knew Anuj’s heart belonged to Anupama. Anupama regretted her actions, feeling responsible for the fallout.
Devika suggested Anupama take a trip to clear her guilt. Meanwhile, Anuj walked alone, while Shruti, contemplating her breakup, left abruptly. Devika pressed Anupama about her refusal to embrace happiness like others, questioning whether Anuj should remain celibate. Anupama acknowledged her concern but hesitated to interfere, believing Anuj couldn’t break his promise to Shruti.
Vanraj, in another conversation, criticized Anupama’s influence over Anuj and Shruti’s lives, prompting Kavya to redirect his focus to arranging Titu and Dimpy’s wedding. Shruti visited Anupama, apologizing for causing her pain and expressing regret over her actions.
Anupama resolved to speak to Anuj, determined to make him understand and reconcile the situation.
