Heavily inebriated, Ishaan expresses heartfelt gratitude to Reeva for her unwavering support and constant presence. Moved, Reeva embraces him and suggests they head home. Despite his inebriation, Ishaan insists on giving her a birthday gift he couldn’t due to Savi’s interference.
Handing her some papers, he asks her to examine them. To her shock, Reeva discovers they are divorce papers between Ishaan and Savi. Ishaan explains they are incomplete and, after signing them, requests she obtains Savi’s signature as well.
Reeva escorts him home and settles him into bed, where he falls asleep. In the background, the song “Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyar Mein…” plays softly. Reeva then moves to the living room.
Surekha inquires where she found Ishaan. Recollecting the emotional encounter with Ishaan over the divorce papers, Reeva explains she found him outside a shop, clearly troubled by recent events. Surekha commends Reeva’s unwavering support, likening her to a true wife who wears an invisible mangalsutra for Ishaan. She embraces Reeva, expressing her gratitude.
Meanwhile, Shikha informs Savi that Ishaan has returned home, prompting Savi to express relief. Shukla’s wife, hopeful for Savi’s reconciliation with Ishaan, suggests that he will soon realize his mistake and return to her. Savi, however, remains resolute that such an outcome is unlikely.
The next morning, Shukla presents the newspaper editor’s apology to the Bhosale family. Savi reads it, and Shukla points out that the newspaper published a fake news story on the front page and buried the apology in a corner. His wife comments that at least they apologized. She notices Ishaan getting out of the car and walking towards Savi, feeling hopeful that he has come to reconcile. She takes Shukla along, thinking Ishaan is there to patch things up with Savi.
However, Ishaan hands over divorce papers to Savi, who is shattered by the sight. Ishaan tells her that this is what she wanted, and she should sign them and return them later, as their paths are now different, and he will not disturb them anymore. Savi, trying to maintain composure, asks him to have tea, but Ishaan, with a sad look, reminds her that he doesn’t drink tea. He then leaves in his car, glancing back at her once before driving away.
Savi, overcome with emotion, repeatedly gazes at the divorce papers, her mind drifting back to her marriage with Ishaan. The poignant melody of “Ya Rabba Dede Koi Jaan Bhi Agar..” fills the background, adding to the melancholy of the moment. Meanwhile, Ishaan, in his office, is haunted by memories of Savi’s declaration of hatred towards him.
Struggling to sign the papers, Savi’s hand trembles, causing her to drop the pen anxiously. Simultaneously, Ishaan finds himself unable to open his own cabin door, a physical manifestation of his emotional turmoil. Nishi, concerned, questions his well-being as he struggles with the door. Ishaan, reminding himself of the impending visit of the IAS officer, Surya Prakash, attempts to regain composure.
Observing Savi’s distress, Shukla’s wife inquires about Ishaan’s actions. Meanwhile, Surekha congratulates Swati, informing her of Ishaan’s delivery of the divorce papers to Savi. Swati, taken aback, questions the timing of the event. Surekha explains that the papers were served the previous night, adding that despite Savi’s disruption of Reeva’s birthday surprise, she plans to give Reeva an extraordinary gift today.
Amongst the buzz of Surya Prakash’s impending visit, students discuss the excitement of his arrival. Despite the distraction, Savi attempts to focus on her essay. As Surya Prakash approaches Savi’s shop, Shukla warmly welcomes him. Curious about the shop’s owner, Surya Prakash is introduced to Savi. Initially preoccupied with her studies, Savi looks up and is startled to see Surya Prakash standing before her.
