Reeva arrives home to a surprise birthday celebration orchestrated by Swati. As Swati sings “Happy Birthday,” Reeva is filled with joy, noting that Swati always brings cake exactly at midnight. Reeva inquires about her father, and Swati explains that he’s away on important business but assures Reeva that only happiness awaits them.
Eager to celebrate, Reeva suggests cutting the cake immediately. However, her excitement is interrupted by a phone call from Ishaan, who reveals he’s been in an accident right outside her house. Shocked, Reeva rushes downstairs to find Ishaan, only to be stunned by the sight of two boys dancing. To her relief, Ishaan joins the dance and they perform “Happy Birthday” together. Overwhelmed with happiness, Reeva is delighted when Ishaan presents her with a cake and invites Swati to join them, culminating in a heartwarming celebration.
Reeva notices the broken windshield of his car and asks, “How did this happen?” Ishaan replies, “Let’s not discuss it.” Reeva then asks if Savi did it. Ishaan is taken aback, asking why she mentioned Savi’s name and spoiled his mood. Reeva quickly apologizes, mentioning it’s her birthday. Ishaan smiles, and she proceeds to blow out the candles on her cake.
As Reeva tries to blow out one stubborn candle, Swati playfully tosses it away. Reeva then cuts the cake and asks for her gift. Ishaan teases her, saying she’ll receive it tomorrow on Akshaya Tritiya.
The next morning, Savi prays at her shop, offering a yellow cloth to God since she cannot afford to buy gold for Akshaya Tritiya. Shukla arrives and informs her that a reporter has published a news article with her picture, revealing the atrocities of the Bhosale family towards her.
Reeva arrives at the Bhosale residence, where Surekha warmly blesses her and offers a 100-gram gold biscuit, a gift she had previously given to her other daughters-in-law, now gifting it to Reeva to make a jewelry of her choice. Surprised, Reeva questions the necessity of such a gesture. Surekha insists it’s her right to do so.
Chinmay enters the scene with a newspaper in hand, announcing that there is someone else besides him who dares to oppose Yashwant. Yashwant, intrigued, asks for clarification. Chinmay reads aloud the headline “Bhosale Family’s Cruelty Towards Their Daughters-in-Law.
” Nishi demands to know who published this false news. Chinmay continues, revealing how the article accuses Ishaan of framing Savi in a fake question paper scandal and Yashwant of throwing her out of the house. The Bhosales are stunned.
Savi, in disbelief, reads the article. Shukla’s wife curses the reporter for spreading lies. Students discuss how the college’s image has changed from positive to negative due to Savi’s actions.
Chinmay taunts Yashwant, suggesting that he is facing the consequences of his actions. Enraged, Yashwant grabs Chinmay’s collar, blaming him. Chinmay, unfazed, tells Ishaan that he believes Savi is innocent and walks away, singing “Papa Kehte Hain Bada Naam Karega.”
Nishi insists they should retaliate against Savi. However, Ishaan disagrees, stating they will not take any action. Reeva warns that Savi now harbors animosity towards them and will continue to target their family. Yashwant, concerned about his reputation, urges Ishaan to take action.
