The episode begins with Anirudh mentioning that Jhanak came to request her bank documents. Lal inquires if she informed anyone else. Anjana confirms, stating that Jhanak told her she needed to go out. Shubh comments on her newfound independence, questioning if she requires permission to leave. Anirudh suggests asking her directly, noting that she can go if she needs money.
Tanuja interjects, reminding Anirudh that he allowed Jhanak to stay. Anirudh hints at a decision he’s made, implying that perhaps she has found support elsewhere. Arshi suggests inviting their father’s family. Shrishti opposes, declaring that if they attend, she will boycott the ceremony.
Vinayak decides to leave for his institute, stating that he won’t attend either, expressing his hurt over potential insults from Anirudh. Shrishti expresses disdain for their family, citing her reluctance to associate with them due to their perceived lack of standards. She emphasizes the importance of maintaining one’s reputation, cautioning against repeating past mistakes.
Meanwhile, Jhanak converses with an auto driver, mentioning her need to purchase some items. Anirudh tries to contact her, but her phone is switched off. He then contacts the bank manager to inquire about Jhanak’s whereabouts. The manager recalls seeing her earlier and promises to check if she is still there. Anirudh expresses his gratitude before ending the call.
Jhanak reflects on her relationship with Anirudh and Arshi, acknowledging the support and opportunities she has received from them. She smiles, thinking about using her earnings to buy a gift for Arshi’s Ashirwad rasam, wanting to uphold her mother’s respect. She wonders if Anirudh and Arshi will accept the gift.
Meanwhile, the bank manager informs Anirudh that Jhanak has left the bank, prompting Anirudh to worry about her whereabouts. Choton then approaches Anirudh and shares his concerns about Mrinalini and his own payment issues. Despite Anirudh’s initial reluctance, Choton insists on discussing his feelings.
In their conversation, Choton criticizes Anirudh for changing and becoming more arrogant, especially towards Jhanak. He questions Anirudh’s behavior, reminding him of Jhanak’s kindness and the fact that she saved his life. Anirudh, however, seems to have a different opinion of Jhanak now, leading to a disagreement between the two.
Jhanak goes to buy diamond rings. Tanuja informs Shrishti has sent many gifts, suggesting they should buy something as well. Shubh, preoccupied, asks for just 5 minutes. Agreeing to return later, Jhanak prepares to leave, but Shubh insists she stay, teasing her for being impatient. Choton tries to defuse the situation, but Anirudh interjects, claiming Jhanak’s true nature is not as they perceive.
Anirudh recounts an incident where he went to a shoot, unbeknownst to Jhanak, to protect her from the industry’s unfamiliarity. He reveals encountering Aditya, who was intoxicated and shared personal details, including Jhanak’s disclosure of their marriage.
As Shubh finishes his work quickly, Tanuja jokingly scolds him for taking too long. Reassuring Tanuja about Jhanak’s safety, Shubh mentions Anirudh brought her home safely. Concerned for Anirudh, Tanuja shares her fear of his workaholic nature and his recent talk of finding another place for Jhanak. Shubh promises to talk to Anirudh about it. Choton mentions Jhanak didn’t drink, but Anirudh speculates she might have later.
Anirudh expresses disappointment in Jhanak‘s behavior, questioning her socializing and allowing Aditya into her room. Choton suggests Jhanak might have felt pressured or awkward. Anirudh worries about others’ perceptions and the potential for scandal, while Choton defends Jhanak’s integrity, believing she wouldn’t compromise her values. Bipasha interrupts their conversation, complaining to Tanuja about Jhanak’s actions.
Tanuja regrets not informing them about something. Bipasha adds that Tanuja didn’t clean the kitchen either, showing pictures of the mess. Shubh inquires about the situation at home. Bipasha deceives them. Choton dismisses the issue, stating that Tanuja is independent, has a job, and will eventually move out; perhaps Aditya will call her to Mumbai.
He questions why they should care, as she is neither their wife, girlfriend, sister, nor friend. Anirudh remarks that Tanuja is ruining her life. Choton challenges him, asking why he’s judging her and advises him to understand himself before judging Jhanak, suggesting that this understanding will resolve many problems in his life.
