The episode begins with Aaji questioning the purpose of a mango competition. Bua teases her inability to identify mangoes by smell alone. Undeterred, Aaji confidently asserts her memory. Encouraged by the family, she agrees to play the game. Sajeeri holds up a mango and asks Aaji to name it. With accuracy, Aaji guesses each mango variety correctly, earning applause from everyone. Adarsh jokingly asks if she’s secretly running a mango farm. Aaji brushes off the comment, challenging everyone to join her in a mango-eating competition, to determine the true mango connoisseur among them.
Vikram sets the timer as Aaji recites a playful poem. The family eagerly indulges in mangoes while Aaji enjoys her victory. Amidst the laughter and banter, Sajeeri remarks to Shivam about the sweetness of the mango. He responds casually, unaware of the significance.
Meanwhile, Nalini marvels at Sajeeri’s unexpected participation, while Mandira notes Aaji’s joyful demeanor. Vikram reflects on seeing his mother in this lively role for the first time and announces the end of the competition. Aaji jubilantly declares herself the winner, confident in her prediction based on everyone’s mango consumption.
Adarsh marvels at Aaji’s insight, prompting her to reminisce about past mango-eating competitions where she always ate more than others. The family agrees with a chuckle. Shivam and Vikram embrace Aaji, celebrating her victory with applause. Sajeeri, touched by Aaji’s perceptiveness, silently wishes for her happiness and dances along with the family.
Elsewhere, Yash and Mini play with marbles, leaving them scattered. Sajeeri watches as Aaji navigates the room carefully. She wonders if Aaji can truly see. Later, in her room, Sajeeri’s saree gets caught in the door, and Shivam comes to her aid. Intrigued, he asks what’s on her mind. Sajeeri hesitates, unsure of her suspicions about Aaji.
Meanwhile, Mandira sneaks into Aaji’s room, intending to take expensive perfumes. Aaji catches her in the act and playfully hums the tune “Chor machaye shor.” Startled, Mandira returns the perfumes and leaves hastily, wary of Aaji’s watchful eye.
Sajeeri, wanting to understand Aaji better, brings her bhel and offers assistance. Aaji credits Sajeeri for the cheerful atmosphere. Unbeknownst to Aaji, Sajeeri discreetly places a camera phone. Later, Aaji enjoys the bhel and entertains herself with music and a book. As she moves about, she feigns blindness once more. Outside, Sajeeri prays, then retrieves the phone, eager to review the footage for clues.
Aaji notices Sajeeri’s actions and confronts her about the phone. Sajeeri admits her suspicions about Aaji’s sight but finds no evidence in the recording. Aaji, smiling knowingly, warns Sajeeri with playful sternness.
The next morning, Sajeeri approaches Shivam for help with his tie. Initially hesitant, he allows her, impressed by her skill. He heads off to a meeting, leaving Sajeeri to reflect on her quest to understand Aaji better.
