The episode begins with Kajal returning home, determined to reveal the truth. Sanjay intercepts her, insisting, “You can’t tell anyone. Abhira will come back home; is that what you want?” Kajal responds, “No, but you have until tomorrow to fix everything. You know what Mom will do if Ruhi and Armaan get married illegally.” They part ways.
Armaan bolts out of the house, while Abhira, packing her bags, clutches Armaan’s coat and reminisces about him. Tears stream down her face as she mutters, “Armaan…” The song “Judaai” plays in the background. Armaan, stumbling on the road, smiles and runs barefoot towards her, driven by his love.
Abhira, doubting his feelings, convinces herself, “Why would he come here? He doesn’t love me; he’s probably asleep, ready to marry Ruhi tomorrow.” She shuts the door, her hope waning.
Armaan arrives, knocking desperately on her door. He collapses outside. Abhira, hearing the commotion, opens the door to find him there. She rushes to his side, asking, “Are you okay? What happened to your feet? Stay here, I’ll get medicine.
” He stops her, saying, “Wait, I need to tell you something. You’ve driven me mad with your love.” A smile breaks across her face. “I love you,” he confesses. “I love you too,” she replies, and they embrace. He then asks her to come home, and she agrees with a smile.
The next morning, Armaan wakes up in his room, glancing around as the new day begins.
Armaan wakes up in a daze, “I was in Abhira’s room… how did I get here? Was it a dream? No, I remember knocking on her door and then collapsing. Did I talk to her?” He spots a box and opens it, finding mementos that make him smile.
Dadi enters, recalling the day she brought Armaan home. “You were wearing these clothes when you came back,” she says, showing him a book. “Vidya has kept this safe. She used to tell you stories to help you sleep before Rohit.
” Vidya appears with his sherwani. “I’m very happy and I forgive you for yesterday. I hope today goes well,” she says. Charu remarks on Armaan’s tired look. Vidya asks her to get him ready and goes to check the haldi preparations. Dadi continues, “I’ve kept all your things safe. We consider you family. Can you honor that and see us as your family too?” She leaves.
Sanjay calls the judge, visibly upset. Kajal inquires, “Is the divorce finalized?” Sanjay responds, “I’m trying.” She presses, “What if it isn’t?” Dadi overhears and demands, “Get Parul’s divorce done quickly; she’s my friend’s granddaughter.” Sanjay assures, “I’m handling it. It will take two days.” Dadi blesses him and departs. Kajal notes, “The happiness of this house is in your hands.”
Armaan talks on the phone, receiving well-wishes for the wedding. Messages from friends flood in. Dadi overhears Manisha and scolds her. Vidya defends, “Armaan came home drunk; Manisha didn’t lie. Isn’t he happy about this marriage?” Dadi insists, “He is happy. Someone spiked his drink.
Forget it and fetch Armaan.” Manisha gets a call from Swarna asking about Ruhi’s haldi. “We will send it,” Manisha replies. Dadi is determined, “Armaan and Ruhi will marry. I won’t let that girl win.”
Abhira walks down the road as Charu, Krish, and others converse with the children. Krish says, “I know Armaan loves Abhira. He needs courage.” Charu responds, “Love may fail us, but family stands by. What about Ruhi? How can Armaan leave her at the altar?” Armaan weeps, “I don’t know what to do.” Abhira sees the “Armaan weds Ruhi” board and sighs, “I ended up here again. Fate doesn’t want me to leave without saying goodbye to my former home. This house caused me much pain but also gave me many good memories.”
