The episode begins with Sachi expressing her worry, “I can’t cook food, I can’t lose the competition. I know you will win, come.” Shivam arrives and notices Sachi, thinking, “There’s a surprise for you.” He moves forward. Cheenu lightens the mood by joking about Bua Dadi’s snoring.
Sharad adds humor, saying, “We might need to find another planet to escape from it.” Meanwhile, Vikram calls Aaji, who eagerly asks, “When are you coming?” Vikram replies, “I don’t know, but I’ll come soon.” Aaji lovingly insists, “Please do come.”
She remarks, “He’s always calling me.” Her tone is pointed as she teases Nalini, saying, “Prepare yourselves, Vikram is on his way home.” Bua Dadi defends Vikram, noting, “He’s not bad, just observant.” Aaji adds, “He’s strict and disciplined, as my son should be. I’ll inform Shivam about Vikram’s arrival, but the rest of you must keep it a secret.” She warns Nalini to be cautious, which brings Nalini to tears.
Sachi queries Sajeeri, “What’s on your mind?” Sajeeri replies cryptically, “Nothing.” Their attention shifts to Shivam’s arrival. Sachi comments, “He’s so proud of his cooking, but he’s about to be defeated.” Sajeeri realizes that this was his surprise.
A man announces, “Today, Shivam will be the judge of the competition.” Sachi and Sajeeri are taken aback. Sachi remarks, “This is nepotism.”
Sajeeri asserts his own talent, and both he and Sachi exchange good wishes. A man discusses the accomplished participants, but Shivam doubts mere elite status guarantees talent. The man questions Sajeeri’s identity, prompting her introduction. However, he requests her to show ID or leave. Sachi intervenes, defending Sajeeri and drawing attention. The organizer arrives, instructing to handle the situation and keep an eye on Sajeeri.
Sachi emphasizes Sajeeri’s talent, stating cooking as an art and vouching for her skills. She asserts that Sajeeri has filled the form. The man instructs to manage the situation and monitor Sajeeri closely. Sachi expresses determination, focusing on teaching Shivam a lesson. The man announces the first round: making round rotis. Nalini urges Anjali to calm down and takes her away. Sajeeri then asks Sachi about zucchini.
The man gestures for silence, and Sajeeri studies the vegetables intently, trying to decipher them. Just then, Preeti arrives and whispers to the man, requesting him to keep her arrival a surprise, as Sachi wouldn’t appreciate it otherwise.
