The episode begins with Sachi announcing to Sajeeri that Shivam loves her and has proposed. Sajeeri is shocked. Sachi explains that she thought it was important to share this news. Sajeeri starts to cry. Sachi then asks if she loves him, and Sajeeri admits she does. Sachi is stunned.
Sajeeri continues, saying that because Shivam loves Sachi, she can’t go through with the engagement. Supriya faints, and Sachi realizes it was all a dream.
In reality, Sajeeri tells Sachi that their mother is thrilled because Nalini mentioned Shivam wants to marry her. Sachi asks if Sajeeri is happy and if she likes Shivam. Sajeeri smiles and confirms she is happy. Sachi congratulates her, and they hug.
Sachi thinks to herself that Shivam has realized he will be happy with Sajeeri and that everything will be fine once she leaves for London. Meanwhile, Shivam feels conflicted about Sajeeri and doesn’t notice her name on the board.
Sajeeri gets ready and talks to Sangeeta, expressing that she feels her father’s blessings are with her. Supriya arrives, smiling at the sight of Sajeeri. Everyone is happy and prepares to leave. Shivam watches the engagement preparations and recalls his conversation with Nalini.
He decides he can’t marry out of anger and needs to talk to his mother. As Nalini hurries with the arrangements, Shivam overhears her talking about him. He resolves not to ruin Sajeeri’s happiness, acknowledging the hardships she has endured.
Mandira approaches Shivam, questioning if he knows who he is marrying. When he leaves without answering, she wonders if he heard her and if he truly loves Sajeeri. Sajeeri and her family arrive at Shivam’s house.
Mandira, determined not to let Sajeeri become her sister-in-law, sees water sprinkling on Sajeeri, who enjoys it. Supriya suggests they go home to change clothes, but Nalini insists they come inside. She takes Sajeeri to get ready with Priya’s help.
Mandira plays a song that Sajeeri loves, and Sajeeri starts dancing. Nalini smiles happily, but Mandira stops the song and mocks Sajeeri. Nalini then introduces Mandira, and Sajeeri greets her warmly. Mandira, feeling slighted, comments that being called “Didi” is outdated. The pandit calls Nalini to discuss the engagement mahurat.
Shivam comes downstairs, and Sharad asks him to check the board, but he misses seeing Sajeeri’s name. Nalini assures him that he and his partner will look lovely together and sends him to talk to Sajeeri. Shivam wants to understand why she agreed to marry a stranger. Priya continues helping Sajeeri get ready.
