The episode begins with Sajeeri embracing Aaji and offering her apologies. Shivam observes quietly. Aaji dismisses Sajeeri, stating that the household already has servants for every task.
Shivam, feeling frustrated, confides in Sharad about Sajeeri’s behavior, expressing his concerns about spending his entire life with her. Sharad advises him to calm down, suggesting that it takes time for any girl to adjust to a new home.
Aaji, focusing on the upcoming rasoi ceremony, instructs Sajeeri to prepare some sweets. Aware of Shivam’s health preferences, she suggests making French cold-pressed coffee for him.
Sajeeri, unsure of how to proceed, seeks guidance from Nalini, who directs her to a coffee machine. Aaji decides to test Sajeeri’s abilities, leaving her to make the coffee alone while she takes Nalini away.
As Sajeeri checks the coffee machine, Aaji hopes that Shivam will reject the coffee, proving Sajeeri’s incompetence. However, when Sajeeri presents the coffee to Shivam, he initially refuses, citing his morning routine. Sharad and Aaji encourage him to try it, emphasizing Sajeeri’s effort. Despite Shivam’s lukewarm response, Sajeeri feels elated by his acceptance.
Aaji leaves the room, leaving Sharad and Shivam behind. Shivam questions Sajeeri about her unfamiliarity with basic household tasks, to which she inquires about using the gas to heat water.
Shivam assures her that there’s no need, as there’s a geyser available. Meanwhile, Aaji overhears Bua praising Sajeeri’s culinary skills, prompting Aaji to caution Nalini against allowing Sajeeri to interfere in kitchen matters.
Later, Shivam guides Sajeeri on using the shower taps, and as she attempts to operate them, he intervenes to prevent a mishap. Sajeeri then offers her hand to help him up when he slips, demonstrating a moment of connection between them.
Aaji plots to ensure Sajeeri slips up, revealing her supposed illiteracy to Shivam, who would then presumably cast her out. Despite this tension, Sajeeri and Shivam engage in playful banter. Annoyed, Shivam storms off. Sajeeri, undeterred, proceeds with her daily rituals, including preparing the aarti dhoop in her room.
As Shivam returns after a bath, he sneezes due to the incense sticks. Irritated by his allergy, he requests Sajeeri to remove them. She complies, placing them outside the window.
Their exchange highlights the discord in their relationship, with Shivam asserting ownership over the room. Sajeeri, however, perceives Shivam’s sensitivity and resolves to cater to his needs by preparing healthy snacks.
Sajeeri’s attempt to introduce nutritious breakfast is met with resistance from Aaji, who insists on traditional, light fare. Despite Nalini’s support for the change, Aaji remains adamant, viewing Sajeeri’s culinary efforts as a threat to her position in the household. However, Cheenu’s enjoyment of the meal momentarily softens Aaji’s stance.
Aaji’s determination to undermine Sajeeri intensifies as she plans to oust her from the household before she gains Shivam’s affection. Sajeeri’s enthusiasm for preparing food for an upcoming party is met with Aaji’s demand for an English speech, aiming to embarrass her. Undeterred, Sajeeri agrees, though puzzled by the unnecessary formality.
Meanwhile, Shivam returns home, his anger apparent, signaling trouble ahead for Sajeeri.
