The episode begins with Sajeeri purchasing balloons, intending to release her anger by bursting them. She explains to Shivam that they will vent their frustration towards Vikram and Kaka, and together, they release the balloons into the air, bringing a smile to Sajeeri’s face. As they smile, Shivam remarks, “Wow, it actually works.” Sajeeri agrees, expressing a sense of relief.
Shivam offers to drop Sajeeri home, but she declines, opting instead to stop for a “cutting” (a small cup of tea) before heading home. Shivam is surprised by the request, especially at that hour, but Sajeeri insists, saying there’s never a wrong time for tea. Despite his initial reluctance due to concerns about hygiene, Sajeeri persuades him to join her at a nearby tea stall. However, their interaction takes a turn when Shivam accidentally spills hot tea on his shirt. Sajeeri apologizes, but Shivam, annoyed, leaves abruptly.
Later, Shivam listens to a song that reminds him of Sachi and decides to call her. Sachi, on the other end, contemplates giving Sajeeri’s number to Shivam but continues talking to him instead. Shivam notices a change in her behavior when they meet in person and asks if he has done something wrong. Sachi reassures him, claiming there’s nothing wrong. She then abruptly ends the call, citing important matters to attend to, and arranges to meet him the next day outside the college, leaving Shivam smiling.
Meanwhile, Sajeeri returns home, her thoughts and feelings from the day still lingering.
Aai advises against going out, suggesting carrying red chilli powder. Sachi, reading the chats, wonders if Sajeeri likes Shivam, sensing a connection and feeling anxious. Sanjeev lightens the mood with jokes. Shivam arrives for a meal and notes Vikram’s absence, assuming he’s asleep. Aaji expresses a desire for a puja, assigning Nalini to handle the arrangements.
Sachi arrives to meet Sajeeri, eager to share some news. However, as she begins talking, Sajeeri seems distracted. “Are you saying something?” Sajeeri finally asks, removing her earphones. “I was listening to a story,” she explains. Sachi hands her phone to Sajeeri, who reads a message from Shivam. “He messages me sweetly, but he’s so different in person,” Sajeeri muses. “He argues with me but chats nicely.”
Sachi realizes Shivam doesn’t know Sajeeri is on the phone. She decides to leave, citing important work. “I’ll catch up with you later,” she says hurriedly, leaving Sajeeri lost in thought. Sachi worries about hurting Sajeeri’s feelings and decides to keep Shivam’s behavior to herself.
