The scene opens with Sajeeri and Shivam enjoying panipuri together. Sajeeri jokingly advises Shivam against indulging in sweets, eliciting a smile from him. Amidst their banter, they relish the panipuri. Urging Shivam to pick up the pace, Sajeeri is interrupted by the manager’s suggestion for them to feed each other the panipuri. Despite the challenge, Sajeeri manages to triumphantly finish all the panipuris, prompting cheers from onlookers.
However, Shivam ruefully notes the absence of Sachi. Sajeeri remarks on the silver lining of saving money due to Sachi’s absence. As they are served tea, Sajeeri is puzzled about its preparation. Spotting a bouquet, Shivam dismissively tosses it aside and proceeds to make tea for her, explaining the sugar cubes along the way. They sip their tea, with Sajeeri inadvertently spilling some on her dress, attracting attention. Shivam attempts to console her but ends up scolding her instead, leading to tears from Sajeeri.
Feeling embarrassed, Shivam confronts Sajeeri about her behavior, expressing his frustration at her refusal to conform to societal norms. Sajeeri, however, stands her ground, refusing to change herself for others and accusing Shivam of hypocrisy in his actions. She declares her intention to leave, citing her original purpose of meeting Sachi. As Sajeeri departs, Shivam apologizes to the gathering for the scene that unfolded, admitting his mistake in staying despite Sachi’s absence.
Amidst the tension, Sajeeri’s phone rings, and Shivam, still reeling from the encounter, answers it. On the other end, Sangeeta delivers grim news about Shivam’s mother’s health, revealing a blockage in her heart and urging him to hurry to the hospital. Concerned, Shivam rushes to Sajeeri, who has fallen on her way home.
Offering her a helping hand, he provides her with a ride, speeding towards her house. Upon arrival, Shivam returns Sajeeri’s forgotten phone and reveals the urgent message about her aunt’s health. Overwhelmed with emotion, Sajeeri breaks down and rushes inside, with Shivam and Nalini witnessing the tumultuous turn of events.
Shivam offers support to Sajeeri, reassuring her of his assistance. Nalini, observing their bond, remarks on their compatibility and captures the moment with a photograph. After bidding farewell, Sajeeri heads home, while Aaji summons Shivam to meet her. Upon arrival, Aaji reveals her matchmaking intentions, presenting a potential match for Shivam.
Politely declining, Shivam expresses his unpreparedness for marriage, desiring a life free from constant conflict. Understanding his stance, Aaji jests about informing Preeti of his disinterest, much to Shivam’s amusement. Touched by her understanding, Shivam acknowledges her insight into his heart, grateful for her support in finding the right partner. Meanwhile, Sajeeri seeks solace from Supriya, urging her to remain resilient.
Later, Nalini teases Shivam with a surprise, leading him to discover Sachi’s photograph placed prominently by Aaji. Amidst their gathering, Vikram probes Nalini’s whereabouts, suspecting her secrecy. Quick to cover, Nalini fabricates a tale, supported by Aaji’s intervention. Shivam, noticing Sachi’s picture, interprets it as another indication of familial approval.
