The scene unfolds with Sajeeri and Shivam engaged in conversation. Sajeeri reminisces about her childhood habit of involuntarily hitting someone while asleep. Shivam, understanding her concern, offers to sleep on the floor, promptly fetching a mattress. Despite his insistence, Sajeeri opts to sleep on the floor, prompting Shivam’s observation of her discomfort. Sensing his unease, she graciously invites him to share the bed, to which he eventually agrees.
Meanwhile, Aaji expresses skepticism regarding Nalini’s suitability due to her illiteracy, questioning Shivam’s decision to marry her. Sajeeri, feeling compelled to disclose something, is overheard by Aaji. In the night, Shivam settles in to sleep, while Sajeeri reveals she only completed schooling up to the fourth standard, a fact her mother-in-law, Nalini, is aware of. Aaji, determined not to let Sajeeri dictate Shivam’s fate, resolves to take action.
Morning arrives, finding Shivam waking up with a stiff neck, disturbed by the ringing alarm. Discovering Sajeeri still asleep, he calls out to her to switch it off, but she remains oblivious. After searching for her phone, he accidentally falls. Sajeeri awakens, concerned, as Shivam questions the early hour. Unfazed, she reveals it’s 6 am and encourages him to rest while she attends to her chores.
As Sajeeri moves about the house, she finds herself taken by the kitchen and begins her morning rituals. Anjali, seizing the opportunity, decides to play a prank on Sajeeri, leading her on with false instructions. Unaware, Sajeeri proceeds with her tasks diligently, even drawing the attention of Anjali’s mother, Mandira, who plans to inform Aaji.
Later, Shivam awakens feeling overheated due to the open balcony door. Upon encountering Sajeeri, he expresses frustration but quickly apologizes, emphasizing the need to keep doors and windows closed when the AC is running. Sajeeri, equally apologetic, promises to be more attentive in the future.
Mandira, impressed by Sajeeri’s efforts, brings Aaji to witness her dedication in the kitchen.
Shivam swiftly changes his attire, preparing himself for the day ahead. Meanwhile, Sajeeri begins folding a blanket, only to be interrupted by Shivam, who insists she’s doing it incorrectly. With precision, he demonstrates the proper method, declaring it perfect once he’s finished. Sajeeri protests his unnecessary fussiness, but Shivam, frustrated by a photo of Sachi, resolves to close that chapter of his life.
In the midst of this, Aaji questions the commotion, prompting Sajeeri to seek her blessings. Aaji, however, reacts by tossing water aside. Mandira captures the scene for social media, while Adarsh and Priya enter. Anjali, noticing the filled utensils, smiles knowingly. Sajeeri, puzzled by Aaji’s actions, questions the wastage, citing water’s significance. Aaji retorts, reminding her that they’re not in a chawl. Sajeeri explains her misunderstanding, apologizing as Aaji instructs her to discard the water, leading to further admonishment.
As Shivam descends the stairs, Nalini arrives, inquiring about the chaos. Aaji dismisses it as drama, urging Nalini to focus on her daughter-in-law’s first day. Assuring Aaji of her guidance, Nalini promises to oversee Sajeeri closely to prevent further mishaps, though Aaji’s patience wears thin, laden with sarcasm and thinly veiled criticism towards Nalini.
