The episode begins with Sajeeri preparing food, with Sachi and other girls also cooking alongside her. Nalini consoles Anjali while Aaji watches and scolds Nalini for giving money to Bablu. Preeti talks to the organizers and convinces them to discard Sajeeri’s dish.
The man in charge sends Sajeeri’s dish away. Sachi suggests they check the dishes themselves and takes Sajeeri along. The man explains that the dishes are identified by numbers, not names, as Shivam tastes the food. He coughs while eating Sachi’s dish, and she admits to it, laughing. Shivam declares it the worst dish.
A guard interrupts, questioning their presence, and Sachi quickly makes an excuse about looking for the washroom. Aaji decides to handle the situation and get the guy arrested, but Anjali insists on dealing with it herself, leading to a heated exchange. Aaji blames Nalini for Vikram’s behavior, but Nalini pleads with her not to involve him.
Shivam asks about the 9th dish, which the man explains didn’t meet competition standards and was given to the watchman. Shivam rushes to taste it and finds it surprisingly good. He returns and announces the winners. Despite Preeti’s wish for Sachi to win, Sajeeri ultimately emerges as the competition’s victor.
Sachi beams with joy for Sajeeri as Shivam reminisces about admiring Sajeeri’s wish and inquiring about her. The man then presents Sajeeri to Shivam, who expresses his surprise, praising her talent, “I didn’t know you were so talented; you deserve it.” Sajeeri receives the trophy and hurriedly approaches Shivam to express her gratitude.
Preeti, however, comments on Sachi’s loss and Sajeeri’s win, visibly upset. Sajeeri thanks Shivam, to which he responds, “You could have used honey too.” Sajeeri admits, “Yes, but I didn’t feel like doing it.” Shivam questions her choice, stating that cooking is an art and asks why she didn’t use honey. Sajeeri hesitates, replying, “I can’t tell you.” Shivam begins to doubt her worthiness for the prize, but she retorts, “Then take it back.”
He acknowledges that her dish was the best, which is why she received the prize, but he criticizes her attitude as unprofessional, expressing his dislike for it. Sajeeri defends herself, saying, “Food is made from the heart, not from a degree.” Shivam walks away, and Sajeeri comments, “You should take insulin today; you might have consumed too many sweets.” Shivam, pleasantly surprised, wonders how she knows about his sugar levels, thinking that maybe Sachi told her, and he smiles.
Meanwhile, Nalini declares she will eat once Shivam arrives.
Vikram arrives home, and Nalini, filled with concern, awaits him. Meanwhile, Preeti confronts Sajeeri over the phone, accusing her of jealousy towards Sachi. Preeti asserts that Sajeeri has ruined Sachi’s outfit and demands compensation for the dress, totaling 7000 rupees. Sajeeri becomes anxious and worried about the situation.
