The episode begins with Vikram expressing regret, admitting his mistake in coming there, and slapping himself. Aaji reprimands Nalini, who apologizes, acknowledging her fault. Shivam observes quietly as Vikram smiles. Riya brings food for Vikram, who, upon tasting it, finds it lacking salt. This angers him, and he confronts them about it. Meanwhile, Kaka searches for money in the grains box, but Sangeeta informs him there is none. Sajeeri becomes anxious, but Kaka eventually finds the rent money, which Sajeeri asks him to return. In a fit of anger, Vikram adds salt to the food and insists Nalini eat it. Shivam intervenes, but Nalini insists and ends up coughing. This prompts Shivam to scold Vikram.
Sangeeta decides she must leave to avoid causing trouble for everyone. Sajeeri pleads with her to stay, fearing Kaka will beat her again. However, Sangeeta leaves, and Sajeeri comments that Kaka is like a disease for her and she needs to find a way to cure him. Aai reassures her, saying not all men are like Kaka, and she speaks highly of her own husband.
She says, “Your dad was really good.” Sajeeri leaves. Nalini asks Shivam to apologize to Vikram. He asks, “What? I should apologize to him?” She says, “Yes, he is your dad, respect him, it’s your duty.” She insists. Shivam says, “It’s not my mistake, but I’m sorry, I’m saying sorry on my mum’s word. You take rest and let everyone take a rest, don’t do drama.”
Sachi is on a call. She sees Preeti and changes her words. Preeti smiles and asks about the guy. Sachi says, “He is my friend.” Preeti says, “I won’t mind if you have a boyfriend. He should be from a good and rich family. Money and love are equally important in a relationship. Your dad was never ambitious. I know how I have handled all this.” She suggests Shivam. Sachi thinks, “I can’t share about my love with mom.”
Shivam and Sajeeri are walking, visibly upset. Some men start teasing Sajeeri. She gives them a piece of her mind. Shivam arrives, and the men quickly back off. Sajeeri asserts, “We girls can handle ourselves.” They both condemn such behavior.
Nalini reminisces about Shivam and becomes emotional. Riya comforts her. Nalini blames herself for upsetting Shivam. Sharad arrives and tries to cheer Nalini up. Shivam joins in, expressing his anger towards the men’s actions.
