Aditya arrives with the police team and witnesses Arjun and Kashvi embracing Karun. The inspector informs Arjun that he will need Karun’s statement later. After their departure, back at home, Arjun apologizes to Karun, who reassures him, stating that it’s not his fault but rather his own mistake. Arjun promises not to raise his voice at him again and expresses relief that they intervened before anything happened to Karun.
Kashvi inquires about where Karun had gone, causing Romila to become anxious, fearing he might mention her. However, Karun explains that he went to bring their mother so she could come to their house. Arjun, puzzled, asks how he knew where Mahima was and who told him. Romila grows more anxious, but Karun explains that he deduced it, thinking their mother must have gone to Toshi Dadi’s house.
He explains that he went to fetch her back, but she wasn’t alone; Vishal uncle was with her. He describes Vishal uncle’s inappropriate behavior and actions. Kashvi expresses disbelief, questioning Mahima’s sanity for involving her son. Arjun urges them to forget what they saw and not dwell on the memory. Karun agrees, acknowledging that their mother doesn’t prioritize them and seems to favor Vishal uncle instead.
He decides to distance himself from Mahima, stating she’s no longer his mother. Karun recalls initially doubting his friends’ warnings about his mother but now acknowledges Arjun and Kashvi’s strong bond. Romila questions how he will manage without his mother, but Karun insists he’ll be fine with his father and aunt by his side. As they embrace, Kashvi admires Karun’s resilience and blames Mahima for the turmoil.
Kashvi arrives at Dadi’s house early in the morning. Mahima questions her sudden visit and asks about her purpose. Kashvi, in shock, reveals that Karun has been kidnapped after leaving angrily from their house. She explains that child traffickers have abducted him and were planning to make him beg. Mahima expresses disbelief and asks why Kashvi is accusing her. Kashvi retorts, blaming Mahima for not going after Arjun and instead should have called him.
Mahima defends herself, saying she wanted to give Arjun some time, believing that once his anger subsided, he would understand and return to her. Kashvi counters, stating that Karun has seen Mahima’s true selfish nature, which they had hoped to shield him from, and now he doesn’t want her in his life. Mahima, angry, declares she doesn’t want to see Kashvi’s face and demands she leave.
As Mahima goes to the door, the doorbell rings, and Dadi arrives. Kashvi narrates the whole incident to Dadi, who scolds Mahima and reminds her of her past words. Mahima, defiant, announces her intention to marry Vishal and declares she will not stay in the house. She packs her belongings and goes to meet Vishal, asking him to take her to his house.
Vishal explains that he cannot do so before marriage but promises to arrange for her stay in a good hotel until then. Excited, Mahima plans for shopping and a spa visit for nail extensions. Vishal, however, begins to doubt if he is making the right decision.
Kashvi urges Karun to drink his milk, but he’s reluctant. Arjun then arrives and informs them about an upcoming school trip to the zoo. Despite Karun’s initial refusal, Kashvi convinces him by saying that if he doesn’t go, the animals won’t care about him. Intrigued, Karun agrees to join them, while Shanti ominously remarks that this will be his last picnic.
At the zoo, the teacher explains that the event is specially organized for children. Arjun tries to engage Karun and cheer him up, but Karun refuses to play with him or his friends. Meanwhile, Romila asks Shanti to run an errand to the market.
Shanti reveals that she’s taken leave from Arjun because it’s her husband and baby’s 13th day since passing. Romila apologizes and encourages Shanti to go. Shanti then meets Gopal, who hands her a box and a key, urging her to execute her plan for revenge.
Later, Aditya reassures Kashvi about Karun. As they arrive at the office, they overhear the guards discussing how Kashvi saved her husband but falsely accused innocent Mahesh.
