The episode begins with Sajeeri heading to meet Shivam, while the parlor lady and Preeti share a sinister smile. Lost in thoughts about Shivam, Sajeeri helps a young boy along the way. Meanwhile, Shivam buys flowers, and the sweet and sour melody of “Meetha khatta…” sets the scene. Sajeeri enters Shivam’s location and takes a seat. As she removes her veil, revealing her oddly done makeup, Shivam bursts into laughter, questioning her about the unusual look. Saddened by his reaction, she asks if he finds it unappealing. He teases her, and she feels dejected. Looking at her face in the camera phone, she is shocked.
Tears stream down her face, catching the attention of everyone in the café. Shivam, concerned, inquires about the reason for her tears. She explains that it was the parlor girl’s doing. Shivam consoles her, suggesting she should have checked in the mirror before leaving, and reassures her that she was deceived.
Sajeeri reveals that it was Sachi’s parlor friend who did this. Shivam, feeling sorry, promises not to mention it to anyone and requests her to speak softly as he feels awkward handling such situations. When the manager inquires if there is any problem, Shivam explains it’s a personal issue his friend wants to discuss.
He encourages her to stop crying, reminding her that Sachi might misunderstand him. He advises her to clean the makeup and assures her that everything will be fine. He wipes her tears, and as he does, the bad makeup comes off. Sajeeri relaxes, thanking him for saving Rhea’s life. Shivam responds with a casual “mention not,” and they share a laugh, easing the tension.
Anjali and Bablu meet at the café to strategize. Anjali expresses her desire to humble Aaji, who takes pride in her wealth. She asserts her own capabilities, stating that despite her MBA, Aaji didn’t entrust her with the family business. Anjali aims to claim Aaji’s property and seeks Bablu’s support. Impressed, Bablu acknowledges her brilliance and agrees that they must pressure the family into giving them money.
Meanwhile, Shivam places an order. Sajeeri, shocked by the high prices, criticizes the café for overcharging. Unfazed, Shivam suggests they have more affordable options. He orders tea and a pastry, but Sajeeri, mindful of his health, suggests he avoid sweets in her presence.
Understanding, Shivam changes his order to nachos and ginger tea, and they share a smile. Supriya, witnessing this exchange, feels emotional and excuses herself to the kitchen, where she faints. Nalini and Sangeet rush to her aid.
Vikram inquires about Nalini’s whereabouts, and Aaji playfully suggests she could be at the temple or engaged in charitable acts. As Vikram tries to contact Nalini, Sangeet reveals Supriya’s heart condition. Sajeeri, noticing the delay in their tea order, complains. The announcement of a pani puri eating contest catches Sajeeri’s interest, as she sees it as an opportunity to win free food.
Though Shivam is reluctant to participate, Sajeeri persuades him, emphasizing the value of money. Reluctantly, Shivam agrees, realizing he must endure Sajeeri’s company to impress Sachi. The crowd cheers as they decide to enter the competition.
