The episode begins with Shivam confronting the girl and asking who she is. Sajeeri intervenes, saying she called the girl, who is her friend, and explains that she came to check on her because her hand got burnt. The girl then leaves.
Shivam, surprised, remarks that he thought Sajeeri only had one friend before walking away. Sajeeri heads to Vikram and stops him from drinking, prompting him to shout at her. She chastises him for his actions towards Nalini.
Meanwhile, Shivam searches for Sajeeri and overhears her telling Vikram that what he did was wrong and that she had lied to Shivam about the girl’s presence, blaming Vikram for bringing her. Vikram, seeing Shivam, starts acting and thanks Sajeeri for lying, promising not to repeat his mistake and acknowledging her sensibility.
Shivam drags Sajeeri to her room while Vikram prevents Nalini from following them. Shivam begins scolding Sajeeri, accusing her of not valuing relationships and siding with someone despicable against his mother.
He becomes furious and tearful, accusing her of covering up Vikram’s actions because she lacks a father figure. Sajeeri, also in tears, defends herself, explaining that because she doesn’t have a dad, she values fathers and wanted to improve Shivam’s relationship with his own. She reveals that she lied to protect Nalini and maintain peace.
Overcome with anger, Shivam storms out of the house and vents his frustration by hitting cement sacks. Nalini approaches him, confessing that she had asked Sajeeri to lie. Shivam, distraught, responds with, “No, not today.”
He says, “Don’t protect her. Why did she agree to lie if you told her to?” Nalini responds, “I’ve covered up your dad’s actions to keep family peace. She lied at my request. But I’ve realized lies can’t bring happiness. Don’t punish her.” Shivam retorts, “You did worse.” He leaves.
The next morning, Shivam wakes up and sees Sajeeri struggling to tie her hair. He suggests she shouldn’t tie her hair plaits every day. She explains, “I do it for my dad. He used to tie them for me every day while he was alive. I miss him.” She looks sad.
Shivam softens and says, “I know I said a lot in anger. I’m sorry. You hid the truth from me, but why did you agree? You’ll never support my dad again.” He gently ties her hair plaits. She smiles as “Aaya Mausam Dosti Ka” plays. Mandira records them on video.
Later, Vikram smirks, “I stirred the pot. Shivam scolded Sajeeri, and she’ll be out of here soon.” Aaji agrees, “Good.” But Mandira shows them the video of the couple, saying, “Check out their romantic video. What do you think?” They are shocked. Aaji angrily breaks Mandira’s phone.
Mandira protests, “You broke my expensive phone!” Aaji rebukes her and demands Vikram explain himself. Frustrated, she decides to take matters into her own hands, calling Nalini over.
Aaji orders some sweets and fruits to be packed, declaring, “Sajeeri will visit her Maayka for a day. It’s a tradition.” Nalini and Sajeeri agree. Aaji insists, “Go to Maayka today.” Sajeeri smiles.
