The episode begins with Aaji presenting gifts for Shivam’s mother and reminding him to return home before 7 pm. She warns that if he’s late, he won’t be allowed to enter the house for a month and will have to stay at his maternal home, as per the advice of the pundit. Nalini agrees, and Aaji arranges for Shivam to attend a meeting in place of her. She even gives a generous tip to the driver, which surprises Shivam. Aaji explains that it’s a gift for his daughter and that their employees are like family.
Impressed by Aaji’s gesture, Shivam praises her and promises to finish the meeting by 4 pm to accompany Sajeeri. However, he receives a call about an urgent meeting and has to leave immediately. Aaji, concerned about the hot weather, initially plans to go herself but eventually decides to send Shivam with Sajeeri, instructing the driver accordingly.
Meanwhile, Sajeeri enjoys her time with Supriya and Sangeeta, praising Shivam for his caring nature. Sangeeta teases her, and they discuss the unique customs of her in-laws’ home. Shivam, after finishing his meeting, informs Nalini and prepares to leave to pick up Sajeeri.
The car grinds to a halt, the driver announcing that they’re out of fuel, suspecting a leaky tank. Shivam’s eyes widen, “What? Is there a petrol pump nearby?” The driver shakes his head, “No, it’s quite far.” Shivam’s mind races, how will he reach Sajeeri in time? Meanwhile, Sajeeri decides to call Shivam, feeling the urgency to get home. “I must reach home on time,” she tells herself.
As Shivam and the driver stop along the way, Aaji recalls her scheme, determined to see how Shivam manages to arrive on time. Shivam reassures Nalini not to worry, promising he’ll make it. Mandira, on the other hand, records a video, thinking, “Now Aaji will see what I’m capable of.”
Sajeeri anxiously waits for Shivam. Spotting a vehicle, Shivam hitches a ride and speeds off. Mandira calls Sajeeri and plays Nalini’s recorded message. Sajeeri reassures her and grabs her bag, knowing she must leave. Supriya insists she should go with Shivam, but Sajeeri heads out, leaving Supriya fretting. Sangeeta tries to comfort her, “Don’t worry, everything will be alright.”
Shivam races down the road, and as fate would have it, he and Sajeeri miss each other. With just a minute to spare, Sajeeri reaches home, Nalini beaming at her punctuality. The clock strikes 7pm, and Nalini, relieved, confirms, “You came right on time.” Sajeeri, concerned, asks, “Are you okay?” Nalini nods, and Aaji inquires, “Where’s Shivam?” Sajeeri sadly replies, “I came alone.”
