The episode starts with Sachi lying to Sajeeri, recalling how she took the paper from Sajeeri’s hand. Shivam thanks Sachi, and Sachi then asks Sajeeri to make her a coffee. Shivam asks Sajeeri to get his phone charger, and she goes to fetch it.
While he works, Sachi falls, and Sajeeri catches her just in time. “Thanks, Shivam, for saving me,” Sachi says, before realizing it was Sajeeri. “Are you okay?” Sajeeri asks. She continues, “Do you prefer milk coffee or black coffee?” Sachi replies, “Thanks for holding me.” Shivam decides to go to the room to work. Sachi thinks, “I know you love me, I’ll remind you of your love.”
The next morning, Sajeeri makes a cake for Sachi, saying, “It’s Sachi’s birthday.” When Sachi arrives, Sajeeri wishes her and gives her a hug. Nalini smiles, and Aaji tells Shivam to get a gift for Sachi, saying they will celebrate and throw a party. Sajeeri protests, “I’m making a cake, there’s no need to do all this.” Aaji insists, “Sachi is away from her home, she’ll like it. She should feel at home.
” Sajeeri agrees, “Really? We’ll celebrate her birthday.” She then tells Shivam to get the gift. Aaji adds, “Sachi has a different class. She’ll appreciate it; her status is the same.” Sajeeri agrees, and Shivam reluctantly says, “Fine.”
Sachi complains, “You didn’t wish me.” Shivam wishes her and leaves. He accidentally takes Sajeeri’s saree, and she jokes, laughing about it. He retorts, “It’s your mistake. Why should I get a gift for your friend’s birthday?” Sajeeri insists, “We should make her birthday special.
” He asks, “Why are you making a cake? We’ll order it online. I don’t want you to spend too much time in the kitchen. Fine, I’ll get the gift.” As he stumbles, she catches him. Sachi, watching, drops a vase in anger and gets hurt.
Sajeeri rushes to her aid. Sachi thinks, “Shivam and I should be together; he was right.” Sajeeri tends to her injury, and Shivam hands her a gift. Aaji instructs him to give it to Sachi. Sachi thanks him, and he says, “It’s from Aaji.” He leaves, and Aaji advises, “Be patient. It’s time to impress him. Dress up so that he only sees you.” Sachi agrees, “Sure.”
Shivam goes to the room and talks to Sajeeri. She says, “I’ll get tea.” He responds, “I got something for you.” He hands her a gift. She sees the saree and likes it, asking, “Is this for me?” He jokes, “No, it’s for Mr. Shah’s wife.” She asks, “Is it her birthday too?” He clarifies, “I got it for you. You’re my wife; I’ll get it for you. I’ve never gifted you anything until now.”
He asks her to close her eyes and then hands her some hair bands. She opens her eyes and smiles as she sees them. He says, “I thought matching rubber bands would be nice. I hope you like them.
” She hugs him tightly and exclaims, “Thank you so much, it’s the best gift I’ve ever received!” Nalini walks in. Shivam jokes, “Girls usually want expensive gifts, and here you are, happy with a saree and rubber bands.” Sajeeri replies, “It’s your love that makes me so happy.
” He asks her to wear them in the evening. She agrees with a smile. Nalini teases them, and Shivam, feeling shy, goes to make a call. Nalini then says she’ll get matching jewelry. Shivam notices Sajeeri hugging the gift and smiling. Sachi, watching them, remarks, “The dress is simple, but it’s special because Shivam got it. He loves me.”
She overhears Nalini talking to Priya, feeling angry as Nalini says, “Shivam got a saree for Sajeeri. I hope their love grows stronger.” In a fit of jealousy, Sachi burns the dress.
She then shows it to Sajeeri, pretending to be sad. Sajeeri suggests, “Let’s go buy new clothes.” Sachi responds, “No, we’ll be late. This saree is new; I’ll wear it.” Ignoring Sajeeri’s protests, Sachi leaves. Sajeeri laments, “She never listens to me.” Sachi smirks to herself.
Later, Sachi gets ready and comes out wearing the saree. Shivam is taken aback. Aaji asks, “Saree?” Sachi explains, “The dress accidentally got burnt, so I’m wearing this saree. I’m sorry, Shivam, I know you got it for Sajeeri, but I decided to wear it.”
