The episode starts with Sajeeri taking Sachi to show her the room. Nalini worries while Aaji thinks Sajeeri’s game is about to end. Sajeeri shows Sachi the guest room and asks her to sit. She then asks if Sachi fought with Preeti. Sachi admits she shouldn’t have gone with Nikhil.
Sajeeri asks if Sachi went to London with him. Sachi reveals that she didn’t go to London but was living with Nikhil, and when her mom found out, she cut off her pocket money, leaving her with no money, which is why she came to meet Sajeeri. Sajeeri asks why she didn’t come sooner and reassures her that she is always there for her. Sachi asks if Sajeeri and Shivam like each other, and Sajeeri blushes.
Aaji tells Mandira to ask Sajeeri to make coffee for her and Sachi. Mandira asks if Aaji called Sachi. Shivam comes home while on a call, and Nalini tries to talk to him. He goes upstairs, and Aaji comments that it’s all fate. Shivam relaxes in his room until Sachi starts massaging his head.
He turns and is shocked to see her. Sajeeri enters and introduces Sachi as her childhood friend. Shivam goes to find Nalini and questions why Sachi is staying there. Aaji tells him there’s no problem since Sachi is Sajeeri’s friend and her friend’s daughter, so she can stay. He leaves, and Sachi watches on.
In the kitchen, Sajeeri cooks food, and Sachi notices she is making Shivam’s favorite dishes. Shivam overhears this, and Aaji remarks that Shivam doesn’t like anything Sajeeri makes. Shivam disagrees and praises the halwa Sajeeri made, calling it very yummy and urging Aaji to taste it, which makes Nalini smile.
Nalini teases Shivam for praising Sajeeri just to show off in front of Sachi, but Shivam insists the sheera was genuinely tasty and he never lies about food. Sachi offers to serve the food but secretly adds extra chili to it, expecting Shivam to get angry. However, Shivam finds the food delicious. Sachi, feeling the spice herself, shouts and gets up. Sajeeri rushes to give her water, and Sharad also finds the food delicious. Shivam asks Sajeeri why she didn’t check if Sachi wanted chili and tells her to get chocolate for Sachi, who then eats it and runs off.
Aaji pulls Sachi into the storeroom, revealing that she had swapped the bowls of chili. Aaji explains she wanted to see how Shivam would react if something happened to Sachi, noting that Shivam got worried and shouted at Sajeeri, showing he cares for Sachi.
Later, Shivam gives a sorry note to Sajeeri, apologizing for shouting and explaining he cares about her and didn’t want Aaji to scold her. Sajeeri smiles, and Aaji reassures Sachi that Shivam will come back to her, as he still cares for her.
Sajeeri gets a file for Shivam, but he notices a paper is missing. Sachi then arrives with the missing quotation paper, explaining that Riya was playing with it, and she didn’t want Shivam to face any loss. She adds that Sajeeri dropped it in the corridor and thanks her for bringing it back.
